Dr Peter Lange
Dr Lange trained in Medicine at the University of Hamburg Medical School, and completed his specialisation in Radiology at the St James University Hospital and Bradford Royal Infirmary, UK.
After completing his MD in MRI, Peter worked as a consultant Radiologist at the Sheikh Kalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi (which is managed by the prestigious Cleveland Clinic) where he was the Chairman of Department.
Dr Lange joined High Street Xray in July 2011 and currently lives in Bendigo where he is the lead clinical Radiologist.
Dr Richard Ussher
Dr Rick Ussher completed his Radiology training in Melbourne. On completion of his training Rick spent a further year at the Royal Children’s Hospital gaining advanced training in Paediatric Radiology.
Subsequent to this he completed further advanced Fellowship training at the Austin Hospital in Interventional Radiology and at the Canberra Hospital in MRI and Musculoskeletal Radiology.
Rick is Director of Radiology for the Grampians BreastScreen service.
Dr David McKenna
Dr McKenna trained in Radiology at University College Hospital, Galway in Ireland. David came to Australia after completing Fellowship training in Body Imaging at the University of California (UCSF) and in MRI at the University of Southern California (USC).
David also has an interest in Musculoskeletal Radiology having previously worked in Canberra where he worked with high profile Rugby teams and Olympic athletes.
David has recently been appointed to the role of Director of Radiology at the Ballarat Base Hospital.
Dr Alicia Wang
Dr Alicia Wang graduated in Medicine with Honours from Monash University and completed her Radiology training at the Austin Hospital.
She subsequently underwent Fellowship subspecialty training in Breast Imaging and MRI (with an emphasis on musculoskeletal MRI).
Alicia has a particular interest in Breast Radiology and enjoys working with a multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive service to women.
Dr Paul Riley
Dr Paul Riley is a graduate from the University of Glasgow and completed basic surgical training in the UK, gaining Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons. Subsequently Paul gained a place in the Manchester Radiology Training Scheme and successfully completed his Fellowship in Radiology.
After completing his FRCR, he commenced a yearlong Fellowship in Breast Imaging at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth, followed up by a Fellowship in Body Imaging at the same institution.
Paul is currently Deputy Director of Radiology at the Ballarat Base Hospital.
Dr Simon Ussher
Dr Simon Ussher studied Medicine at the University of Otago, before moving to Canberra for his Radiology training.
After completing his Radiology training he undertook Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology at The Canberra Hospital, MRI at Monash Medical Centre and Breast Imaging at St Vincent's Breastscreen in Melbourne. His interests include Thoracic Radiology and Radiology Education.
He currently serves as the Director of Training for the Ballarat Base Hospital Radiology Registrar Training Program.
Dr Reza Garzan
Dr Garzan completed his basic physician training in Brisbane before relocating to Melbourne where he became qualified as a Nuclear Medicine Physician at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Following this Reza also undertook a fellowship in radionuclide therapy and PET/CT at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, before joining our team in Aug 2015.
Dr Garzan has a wide range of interests and skills in the field of Nuclear Medicine, including nuclear cardiology, oncology, endocrinology, musculoskeletal and sports medicine.
